25 Apr 06 The birth of SPAM

“Spam” is a popular Monty Python sketch, first broadcast in 1970. In the sketch, two customers are trying to order a breakfast from a menu that includes the processed meat product in almost every item. The term spam (in electronic communication) is derived from this sketch.

The thing about SPAM is that it’s really tasty. Delicious, even. It’s totally unidentifiable and absolutely horrible for you, but once you take that first bite, you know you’re going to eat the whole tin.

    Try it with yogurt!
